X Factor UK 2014 Jake Quickenden Exits Show
The X Factor 2014 was back tonight with Simon, Cheryl, Mel B and Louis and what a show it was.
Dermot O’Leary announced the public vote for those acts that got through to next week. Jake Quickenden found himself in the sing-off together with Only the Young, after host Dermot O’Leary announced that they were the bottom 2 acts of the week.
The internet became alive with the news of who was in the sing offs. There hasn’t been so much excitement since the story of X Factor Cheryl Cole Anorexic was released.
Quickenden sang ‘Red’ by Daniel Merriweather, while Only The Young sang a performance of ABBA’s ‘The Winner Takes It All’. They each tried to win the Judges over with their sing off performances.
It was then up to the Judges to determine who was best to go through to the next round next week. Fans had sighed relief when their favourites had got through earlier.

Mel B naturally voted for her own act and voted for Only The Young to exit the competition, while Louis apologised to Quickenden as he voted for him to go.
Simon called both sing-offs “awful” as well, and said the act that would have to go was Jake. Cheryl closed his fate by selecting him also.
